9.3.2013 Every Day A Hero

On August 25, I had the pleasure to contribute as one of the photographers in the Every Day a Hero event held at Paradise Park in Lee’s Summit, MO.  This event provided an evening of fun as well as a resource fair for patients and their families fighting pediatric cancer and other blood related diseases. Many businesses and sponsors contributed to the event. It was a huge success thanks to the giving hearts of so many volunteers, contributing sponsors and organizations.

Families had access to the go carts, mini golf, a rock climbing wall, arcade games and more at Paradise Park. Faces of Hope offered face paintings. Massage Heights offered free massages. Marvel Comics sent Spiderman who put many smiles on many little faces…and grown up faces, too! I’ve only named a few of so many who made a positive and fun impact for these heroes.

Below are some photos highlighting the event. More photos can be seen in the Every Day A Hero Gallery.
